Join the Santa Maria Fire Department for ON DUTY, a two-day informational and interactive program designed to give participants a behind-the-scenes look at the fire service while highlighting the importance of mental health and wellness.

Day 1 – April 10:
Kick off the experience with an informal meet-and-greet and icebreaker session. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with Santa Maria firefighters, learn about the program, ask questions, and enjoy dinner provided by the department in a relaxed setting.

Day 2 – April 11:
Dive into hands-on learning through a variety of realistic scenarios and activities. Participants will gain insight into the daily responsibilities of firefighters, teamwork under pressure, and the department’s approach to mental health, wellness, and overall resiliency.

This program is ideal for individuals interested in learning more about the fire service, community safety, and the resources that support first responders both on and off duty.

Space is limited — registration is required.
